What FineShyn is

Not an employer. A route to customers.

FineShyn Ltd operates a UK mobile car-care marketplace. Customers book a wash through the Shyn app; we offer the job to one Shyner at a time. If you accept, you carry out the work as an independent contractor under the IR35 Contractor Agreement you sign as part of onboarding.

We don't employ Shyners. We don't supervise the work. We don't dictate methodology beyond the contractual service-level deliverables you agree to. You run your detailing business; FineShyn is one route to customers.

The contract is IR35-clean by design. The platform is built to match.

  • Set your own availability

    Open or close any time slot. Block whole days. There is no minimum commitment.

  • Decline any job

    Each offer comes with a brief decision window. You may pass without explanation; we cascade to the next Shyner.

  • Self-billing weekly payouts

    Every Monday, you receive a self-billing statement covering the previous Mon–Sun. Payouts via Stripe Connect.

  • Photos as a deliverable

    Pre- and post-job photos are a contractual output (for damage dispute resolution) — not an instruction on how to work.

  • Damage is covered

    FineShyn carries the financial responsibility for accidental damage under £500. You never pay out of pocket.

  • Transparent commission

    Shyn 20% · FineShyn 10% · FineShyn+ 12%. You see the customer price, the commission, and your net on every job.

How to apply

Four steps to your first offer.

    Register your interest

    Tell us your name, email, postcode, and a quick word about your existing detailing work. We'll reply within two business days.

  2. 02

    Vetting

    Identity verification, DBS check, public liability insurance certificate, portfolio review. We don't skip steps — the vetting bar is part of the brand.

  3. 03

    Contract + Operator Handbook

    Sign the IR35 Contractor Agreement and review the Operator Handbook. Both are written to keep you on a contractor footing.

  4. 04

    Onboard via the Shyner app

    Set up your Stripe Connect payouts, add your service area, set your availability. Take your first offer when you're ready.

Important: your status

Shyners are independent contractors under UK self-employment law. You are not an employee or worker of FineShyn Ltd. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and (where relevant) VAT. FineShyn does not deduct tax at source.

The IR35 Contractor Agreement and Operator Handbook spell out the working arrangement in full. We strongly recommend reading both — they exist to protect both sides. A qualified UK solicitor reviews the agreement before you sign.
